This week, we’re proud to feature Heather Conley, Realtor® and Real Estate Advisor with Coldwell Banker Realty, serving Marion and communities throughout Central Ohio.

Heather helps first-time home buyers, growing families, downsizers, relocations, land purchases, commercial clients, and more—but what truly sets her apart is the heart behind her work.

When asked what inspired her to become a Realtor, Heather shared:

“I wanted to simply be myself, connect with people, and genuinely help them. It’s an honor to be part of such an important life step—even when it’s not always a joyful one. Sometimes someone has passed away, or they’re moving into a nursing home, and it hurts. I still want to be there to help.”

Before beginning her real estate career three years ago, Heather spent 20 years in the restaurant industry, where she learned the value of serving others and building meaningful relationships.

Her journey hasn’t always been easy.

Heather shared:

“I started out pregnant, sick, scared, overwhelmed, broke, and lost. I recently stepped away from waitressing forever to become a full-time Realtor. I’ve truly built this business from the ground up by the grace of God.”

That perseverance is one of the reasons so many people connect with her story.

Heather also understands that buying or selling a home isn’t always picture-perfect.

She wants people to know:

🏡 Your house doesn’t have to be perfect.

💙 It’s okay to be scared.

🤝 Change is difficult, and you don’t have to go through it alone.

One of Heather’s proudest accomplishments has been helping shine a spotlight on Leapin' Outreach Center and raising support for its homeless shelter—another example of her commitment to giving back to our community.

When asked what she loves most about Marion, her answer was simple:

“I love watching Marion rise from the ashes and being able to take part in it.”
