This week, we're excited to introduce The Gilded Lens Fine Art Studio and owner Jennifer Justice!

Jennifer captures heirlooms.
For the past 13 years, Jennifer has been preserving life's most meaningful memories through photography. After moving to Marion, she has spent the last year rebuilding her business in a new community, and she's excited to become a familiar face for families throughout Marion County.
Jennifer specializes in maternity, newborn, and children's photography, while also photographing engagements and intimate micro weddings. Her passion for documenting life's milestones began with her own family.
"I was inspired by my own children and documenting their lives as they grew up. At some point I upgraded my camera and started taking it more seriously."
With a degree in Graphic Design, Jennifer says the artistic side of photography—especially editing—came naturally. That artistic background is one of the things that makes her work stand out.
"I don't just offer pictures... I offer heirlooms. These images are works of art."
One of the most unique aspects of The Gilded Lens Fine Art Studio is the setting itself.
Rather than operating from a traditional storefront, Jennifer welcomes clients into her beautiful 1850s Victorian home, where she has created a warm and elegant photography studio that provides a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Jennifer has also invested heavily in mastering her craft. She studied under a world-traveling newborn photographer in Abilene, Texas, and her work has been recognized nationally. She has been published in several magazines, earned a feature in a "Behind the Lens" article, and one of her photographs was even selected for the cover of a magazine—an accomplishment she considers one of her proudest career milestones.
While Jennifer has built a strong client base in Delaware and Marysville, she wants Marion residents to know something important...
"I'm here!"
She's excited to continue growing her business right here in Marion and becoming part of the community.
One of Jennifer's favorite parts about being a photographer is something many people may not think about.
"Watching the community grow up with every newborn that enters my studio."
She has the privilege of documenting families from pregnancy through childhood, creating keepsakes that can be treasured for generations.
Jennifer also believes that local businesses succeed by supporting one another.
"We're all in this together and should be propping each other up. It makes us stronger."
Here's a fun fact that many clients don't know...
Jennifer's husband is also part of the team! He's her assistant during sessions, helping soothe newborns, hold lighting equipment during outdoor shoots, and making sure every session runs smoothly.
