At just a little over a year in business, Mylee is already building something special right here in our community—and her business is rooted in something simple:

What makes MJS Skin Solutions unique is Mylee’s focus on creating an experience where her clients can relax and feel comfortable while receiving high-quality services at an affordable price.

And her passion for this work started with a genuine interest in skincare.

Mylee decided to attend Tri-Rivers to study esthetics, initially not knowing exactly where that path would take her. But she quickly discovered that she truly enjoyed it.

She realized she wanted to create a space where people could take some time for themselves, relax, and feel good.

So she told her mom she wanted to start her own business.

Mylee started her business during her junior summer, while continuing her education. She later returned to Tri-Rivers to earn her nail technician license, continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in the beauty industry.

But Mylee hasn’t built this business alone.

She credits her mom with helping her tremendously as she got started, along with her boyfriend’s mom, Kaiden, who owns Brush Hair and Skin Bar.

Mylee shared:

“Without her and my mom I definitely wouldn’t be where I am right now.”

That support is such an important part of the small-business journey—and it’s a great reminder that behind many local businesses are family members, mentors, and other business owners who help make the dream possible.

One of Mylee’s favorite things about her work is meeting new people and working in customer service.

She loves helping people feel beautiful and giving them an opportunity to slow down and treat themselves.

And that’s something we could all use a little more of. 💕
